Herhaling
God created man, but not you.

She found it easier to fall in love with others than to love herself.
Are you sure, dear God, that humans have all the qualities to fail?
All human behaviour can be explained by hormones. None of it is understood by it.

And there is one inevitable pitfall of humans: they cannot care for people they do not know.

Our religious biology teacher had removed a rib from the classroom skeleton, to make it match the way God had designed men and women. Not because he thought God was right — but because he thought the model was wrong.
Eerste zin

Merco
He won the battle. The second immigrant had a bigger car and a bigger house. He saw me looking, and we both knew what the other was thinking. He thought he had won the battle — but I knew he had fought my battle.

Over
